Dr. Matt Stringham is a native of Northern Virginia where his father has practiced general dentistry for nearly 40 years. Dr. Stringham studied Broadcast Journalism at Brigham Young University and after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 2008, he landed a job as a news reporter at a television station in Eugene, Oregon, where he first developed a love for the Beaver State. After realizing his true passion was following in his father’s footsteps, Dr. Stringham returned to BYU to complete his prerequisite coursework for dental school. While there, he met his wife Ashley, a native of Salem, Oregon.
He and Ashley were married in Portland in 2011 and shortly thereafter moved to Richmond, Virginia so Dr. Stringham could attend the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. After graduating in 2015, Dr. Stringham worked as an associate for his father, learning as much as he could before ultimately returning to Oregon and beginning work for Hunsaker Dental.
Dr. Stringham and his wife have two children, a son and a daughter. They enjoy going on cruises, attending musicals, and watching movies together.
