Dr. Jainik Patel was born in Secaucus, New Jersey, and raised in Northern Alabama. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with Distinguished Honors from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he studied Public Health and Chemistry. Dr. Patel went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in Mesa, Arizona.
His background in public health helped shape his passion for dentistry and showed him how closely oral health is connected to overall well-being, confidence, and quality of life. Throughout his training, Dr. Patel provided comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of needs, including those with complex medical histories and limited access to dental care. His experiences at community health centers, in the Navajo Nation, and throughout underserved communities strengthened his commitment to providing compassionate, personalized care and making every patient feel heard and understood.
Dr. Patel is excited to make Salem home with his fiancée, Jules, and their two cats, Remy and Ratatouille. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys exploring nature, traveling, trying new foods, staying active, and watching movies. A longtime fan of acting and film, he also grew up performing in musical theater, band, and show choir. He looks forward to putting down roots in Oregon, exploring the Pacific Northwest, and becoming part of the local community
